SEI Energy LLC - an energy marketing company

The Sawyer family has been involved in the Oil and Gas Industry since the 1930's. "J. T." Sawyer first entered the Industry as a Tool Pusher and Roughneck. Years later he formed Sawyer Drilling and Service, Inc. which remained an active drilling contractor in the Ark-La-Tex for over 40 years. His son Jerry was founder and President of Sawyer Energy, Inc. Sawyer Energy was an active oil and gas operator in the Ark-La-Tex until Jerry's death in 1998. Today, Jerry's son Brad carries on the family tradition as President of SEI Energy, LLC.

As a boy growing up in Shreveport, LA, Brad was exposed to the Oil and Gas business at an early age. He graduated in 1987 from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX with a degree in Economics and a minor in Geology. Although, his oil and gas marketing career began in supply origination, Brad quickly moved into trading and risk management.

Brad's strong desire to provide the Independent Producer with the same pricing tools that were available to the "Majors" led him to form SEI Energy, LLC. He located SEI in Tennessee to be strategically positioned between the producing regions and the consuming regions. Never forgetting his roots, Brad specifically designed SEI as a Producer Services company that is committed to providing Service, Experience and Integrity in all aspects of its operations.
